In 2018 I began to describe my process, my practice as 'Creativity in Motion'. The artist is firmly situated in her process and visible in film and photographs.  The films are layered, they combine sound, poetry, moving imagery and performance.

Working in this way has enabled me to draw together the 'flat works' and 'dynamic lived works' into one experience. Like gathering my thoughts into lines of poetry.

This blog post is preserving what I had on my website when I created it in 2018. I am archiving this so I can see the progression of my own understanding, and situate my work within a bigger context.

In 2018 I described each artwork in the collection as a glimpse of the creative river. Like a river's moods at dawn, noon, and sunset, or like its trickle during drought and its torrent after a storm, each artwork can be seen to express one part of a larger process. ​I am interested in expressing not just the mood, but also the rhythms, cycles, and processes evident in creative happenings, and articulations.

That is still true. By revealing them, they become more accessible?
