Like white summer rain Curling up inside a swirling curve pink shell Smudge that expression off your face Relax into the morning dew freshness of a dark and gaze-less space. No one is watching, the glare of other people’s wants
no longer suffusing your skin in bright, bright light until you’re not sure you look like yourself anymore did I make this choice to wear your colours on my skin? White summer rain washes my edges softly fuzzing my skin like the tickle of white noise and then I’m naked in this gaze-less space As raw as a freshly popped pea
